动词的重叠形式用来表达短时间、少量、轻微、尝试的意思,语气比较轻松、随便,多用于口语中。

A reduplicated verb indicates a short time, small amount, slight degree, or attempt — a relaxed, casual tone. Common in spoken Chinese. Monosyllabic verbs use AA or A一A; disyllabic verbs use ABAB.
