以前学过问句里的“呢”（你呢？）。“呢”也可以放在陈述句末尾：一、和“在”一起，表示动作正在进行，情况还在继续：他在睡觉呢。二、表示说话人在提醒对方一个事实，语气比较软，常常和“还”一起用：还很远呢、还早呢。
You already know 呢 in questions (你呢? "and you?"). 呢 can also end a statement: (a) Together with 在, it shows an action is in progress or a situation is still going on: 他在睡觉呢 "he's sleeping (right now)". (b) It gently points out a fact to the listener, making the sentence sound softer and more conversational. It often goes with 还: 还很远呢 "it's still quite far, you know", 还早呢 "it's still early".

- 王明在教室看书呢。Wang Ming is reading in the classroom.
- 离机场还很远呢。The airport is still quite a long way off.
- 现在还早呢，我们走路去吧。It's still early, so let's walk there.
