副词“就”(时间早、快)

HSK 2Lesson 7
The Adverb "就": Early, Quickly, As Soon As
结构Pattern
时间 Time就动词 Verb (+ 了)
六点就起床了
十分钟就到了
吃了饭就去公司
解释Explanation

“就”放在动词前面,前面常常有一个时间词或者一段时间。它表示说话人觉得事情发生得早、快,或者时间短。句末常常有“了”。“动词+了……就+动词”表示前一个动作一完,后一个动作马上开始。

就 goes right before the verb, usually after a time word (六点) or an amount of time (十分钟). It shows the speaker feels the action happens early, quickly, or after only a short time. A sentence about something that has happened usually ends in 了. 六点就起床了 = "got up as early as six"; 十分钟就到了 = "got there in just ten minutes". With "verb + 了 ..., 就 + verb", 就 means "as soon as": the second action follows right after the first.
