解释Explanation

“还”放在形容词或者动词前面。1. “还 + 可以 / 不错 / 好”表示“不太好也不太差”，说的时候比较客气。2. “还 + 动词”表示“也、另外”，比如“还有一杯”“还想买……”。3. “还在 + 动词”表示事情没有完，比如“他还在睡觉”。

还 goes before an adjective or verb. (1) Before 可以, 不错 or 好 it softens a judgement to "fairly / passably": 还可以 "it's OK, not bad", 还不错 "pretty decent". It sounds polite and a little reserved — not great, not bad. (2) Before a verb it means "also, in addition": 下午还有一杯 "and another cup in the afternoon", 我还想买一个杯子 "I'd also like to buy a cup". (3) It can mean "still": 他还在睡觉 "He's still asleep".
