解释Explanation
"动词＋过"表示过去有过这样的经历，常常翻译成"曾经……"。否定形式是"没（有）＋动词＋过"，不用"不"。问别人的经历可以说"……过……吗？"或者"……过……没有？"。
Verb + 过 (guo, neutral tone) says that something has happened at least once in the past, so it's part of your experience: 我去过那个饭馆 "I've been to that restaurant (before)". It doesn't say when; it's about having had the experience. The negative uses 没(有), never 不: 我没吃过羊肉 "I've never eaten lamb". To ask, add 吗 or 没有 at the end: 你看过这个电影吗? / 你看过这个电影没有? Compare 了, which reports that a specific action got done.
