解释Explanation
"别"和"不要"放在动词前面，用来叫别人不做某件事。如果这件事正在进行，句末加"了"，意思是"现在停下来"。"别"比"不要"更口语化，语气也比较轻。
别 (bié) and 不要 (búyào) go before a verb to tell someone not to do something. When the action is already happening, add 了 at the end of the sentence: the meaning becomes "stop doing it now". 别看手机了 is "Stop looking at your phone", not "Never look at your phone". 别 is more colloquial and a little softer than 不要.
