解释Explanation

人民币的单位是元、角、分，口语里常说“块、毛、分”。一块 = 十毛，一毛 = 十分。说钱数：数字 + 块（+ 钱）。

China's currency is the yuan (元). In everyday speech people say 块 instead of 元: number + 块, optionally followed by 钱 (25块 or 25块钱). Smaller units also exist — 1块 = 10毛 (written 角), 1毛 = 10分 — but in daily shopping you will mostly hear 块.

  • 这个杯子15块。
    Zhège bēizi shíwǔ kuài.
    This cup is 15 yuan.
  • 米饭3块钱。
    Mǐfàn sān kuài qián.
    Rice is 3 yuan.
  • 一个杯子九块钱。
    Yí ge bēizi jiǔ kuài qián.
    One cup costs nine yuan.
  • 茶多少钱？——20块。
    Chá duōshao qián? —— Èrshí kuài.
    How much is the tea? — 20 yuan.
