解释Explanation
“多＋形容词”可以问程度，“多大”就是问年龄。问同龄人或者年轻人用“你多大？”或“你今年多大？”；问小孩子一般用“几岁”；问老人要用更客气的说法，比如“您多大年纪了？”。
多 + adjective asks "how (much)…?", so 多大 — literally "how big" — asks someone's age. Choose the question to fit the person: for friends, classmates and other adults around your own age, say 你(今年)多大？; for young children, 几岁？ is more natural, since you expect a number under ten; for elderly people, a more respectful form is used (您多大年纪了？), which you'll learn later.
