用“吗”的是非问句

在陈述句的最后加上“吗”，就变成了问“是不是”的问句，语序不变。回答时可以用“是”或“不是”，后面常常再说一个完整的句子。

To turn any statement into a yes/no question, just add 吗 at the very end — the word order stays the same: 你是学生。 "You are a student." → 你是学生吗？ "Are you a student?". Chinese has no single word for "yes" or "no"; you answer by repeating the verb: 是 (yes) or 不是 (no), often followed by the full sentence: 是，我是学生。 / 不是，我是老师。
